Lash-Out

I’ve had enough; I can’t take it ‘nymore
It’s all over; nothin’ ain’t like before
The meteoric magnificence;
Those dreams with happiness galore
I stand here by the river; my eyes now sore

My mind imprinted with angry thoughts
Traded for all the happy ones my heart once bought
Emotions build up inside me bubbling like a volcano
On the edge of an outburst; when n where, no one to know

Peace n tranquility is something I seek desperately
Boy, I’m out on the street now walking briskly n boldly
Nothin’ can stop me, nothin’ can hold me
I’ve finally figured out the place where I wanna be

I’ve had enough; I can’t take it ‘nymore
It’s all over; nothin’ ain’t like before
The meteoric magnificence;
Those dreams with happiness galore
I stand here by the river; my eyes now sore

There’s no turning back now
I stop n turn n take a bow
Gazing into the sun, setting across the river
The negativity in my mind; it melts, it trembles, it quivers

What was mine shall remain mine n only mine forever
Thousands can try but none shall proclaim to be its righteous owner
My name will be carved on that heart-rock-stone
Imprinted in golden letters, and it will lie there all alone

I’ve had enough; I can’t take it ‘nymore
It’s all over; nothin’ ain’t like before
The meteoric magnificence;
Those dreams with happiness galore
I stand here by the river; my eyes now sore

Oh, rid me of these worldly feelings, of anger, of hate, of revenge
The monster hath been unleashed; it’s time to avenge
Sow the seeds of positivity, calmness, peace, care n concern
For love and all things good, my heart still yearns!

My mind is lashing out to boundaries beyond limit
Wanna run, wanna walk away, presto; I try to edit
They outrun my thoughts; silly digits
“Focus”; my mind’s trained n now it’s become a habit

I’ve had enough; I can’t take it ‘nymore
It’s all over; nothin’ ain’t like before
The meteoric magnificence;
Those dreams with happiness galore
I stand here by the river; my eyes now sore

…This is it! …No more, …no more, …no more!
